Quinoa Porridge

 

This recipe has been developed for our new quinoa flakes which we are very exited about! This recipe is perfect if you want a warm, hearty breakfast and contains all the goodness of our wholegrain quinoa, you can use 100% quinoa flakes or mix with oat flakes if you desire. This can be adapted to use any fruit or topping of your choice!

 

Ingredients (serves 2)

• 1 cup Bath Farm Girls Flaked Quinoa

• 1 cup milk of choice

• 1 apple, chopped

or grated with skin

• 1/2 teaspoon ground

cinnamon

• Honey

Method;

1. Rinse flaked quinoa under cold running water.

2. Combine with the milk in a pan and bring to the boil.

3. Reduce the heat – cover and cook for 5 minutes until soft.

4. Add apple and cinnamon.

5. Cook for a further 5 minutes – add more milk if needed.

6. Drizzle honey & serve.
